Notice the dark purple wall, the black pergo fake tile on the floor, and the 1 X 4 pine scrap board up as the baseboard and molding. Yuky!!!
This is right after I finished the tile in the kitchen. My wonderful uncle Tim came and helped me learn how to tile and I think it turned out great! There is a square design in the tile where the future table will go.
This is the decorated finished version of the dining room. We got a new beautiful table that seats 10. and it pretty much takes up the whole room. But I like it.
This is the molding around the window, and door frame into the dining room. Its three pieces put together to get a crown molding look.
We have extra cabinets on the side of the dining room. They were almost new maple cabinets so we didnt change anything about them.
So thats the first done room in the house. Hopefully I will get something else done then I will post more pictures.
